Metro 2 account status code 63: paid in full, was a repossession
The lender repossessed the collateral, usually a vehicle, and the remaining balance was later paid in full, whether from the sale proceeds, your own payments or both. The repossession stays in the record alongside the paid status. It's the paid version of status 96, which can show a deficiency still owed after the sale.
How it shows on your report
Something like "Paid, was repossession," with a $0 balance.
How it affects your score
A serious negative because of the repossession itself. Paid is better than unpaid when a lender reads the report, and the item still ages off on the normal schedule.
What to check
Balance and past due should be zero. Check that the sale proceeds were credited, and that no separate collection account still reports the deficiency as owed. The date of first delinquency should not change because the balance was paid.
