Metro 2 account status code 13: paid or closed, zero balance
The account is finished and nothing is owed: a loan paid off, or a card or line of credit closed with no balance. A payment rating travels with this status to show whether the account was current or behind when it closed, so 13 by itself doesn't prove the history was clean.
How it shows on your report
"Paid," "Closed" or "Paid, closed," with a closed date and a $0 balance.
How it affects your score
Positive or neutral when the history is clean. A closed card no longer adds its limit to your utilization math.
What to check
A paid or closed status should show a $0 balance and $0 past due. If you paid on time to the end, the payment rating and the last month of the grid should both read current. Compare the closed date to your payoff letter.
