Metro 2 compliance condition code XH: previously disputed, investigation complete
The account was in dispute and the furnisher has finished its investigation. Furnishers use it to retire an earlier dispute flag, such as XB, and it tells anyone reading the report that the dispute is no longer pending. The account's other fields should already reflect any corrections the investigation produced.
How it shows on your report
The dispute remark may disappear or change to "previously in dispute" or similar wording.
How it affects your score
Clears the open-dispute condition that can hold up mortgage underwriting.
What to check
After a dispute closes, you should see this code or the dispute remark removed. If an old dispute flag still shows months later, ask the furnisher to update it. Check that any correction promised in the dispute results, such as a changed balance or late payment, actually appears.
